The board's primary duty is to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations
made by the building official relative to the application and interpretation of the
international codes for building, residential, gas, plumbing, mechanical, and fire
standards, as well as to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations
made by the county engineer regarding all storm-water/MS4 projects and stormwater
assessments, fees, and penalties. The decision of the board is final.
